Although perhaps best known for the images he took of the Dust Bowl, Arthur Rothstein was dedicated to documenting the experience of common people throughout the years of the Great Depression. To this end he spent much time in the American South; capturing not only the rural daily life of the people, but the historically rich landscape of the region.
