Living New Deal Research Associate, Ann Rothstein Segan is presenting an exhibition developed in conjunction with Roosevelt House in New York City. The exhibit features more than 150 photographs taken by her father Arthur Rothstein (1915-1985) for the Farm Security Administration. The show is based on a book proposal that Rothstein wrote but was never published. This exhibition also includes WWII photography by Rothstein produced after the FSA became part of the Office of War Information in 1942. Original photographs and reproductions, as well as published materials, will highlight the varied media where Rothstein’s work was showcased throughout his prolific 50-year career.
